TEAMS
TEAMS OTUMOETAI TE PUNA MEMBERS CAN TRIAL FOR
Note Riders must be financial members to be eligible for selection to teams.
Riders must have completed 5 rallies in the previous 12 months, 3 of these rallies on their trialing mount.
TAURANGA PONY CLUB GYMKHANA TEAM
A Team of 24 riders from 4 age groups: 10yrs & under, 11 & 12yrs, 13 & 14yrs, 15yrs & over.
The Team is selected from results at Branch selection gymkhanas prior to December.
The selected Team represents TPC at the BOP Pony Club Championship Gymkhana usually held in December.
TAURANGA PONY CLUB EVENTING TEAM
Timberlands North Island Teams Event usually held in April. Any further information can be found on NZPCA Website.
This event is run under the ENZ Rules of Eventing New Zealand and comprises Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country.
Please read the technical information linked below as there have been changes to the qualifying criteria as well as changes to the heights.
TAURANGA PONY CLUB & BOP PONY CLUB DRESSAGE TEAM
A Team of up to 10 riders (usually 5 Junior and 5 Senior)
The Team is selected at the TPC Dressage Day usually held in November.
The selected team represents TPC & riders trial for the BOP Dressage Team at the BOP Dressage Champs in December.
The selected BOP Team of 6 riders & 2 reserves represents the BOP Pony Club at the NZPCA North Island Dressage Champs in Taupo in January.
TAURANGA PONY CLUB SHOW HUNTER TEAM
National Showhunter Championship, Manawatu held in October of each year. Teams consist of a mimimum of 6 riders and a maximum of 8.

TAURANGA PONY CLUB SHOW JUMPING TEAM
A Team of 6 riders & 3 reserves from 3 age groups: 2 Seniors (17 & under 21), 2 Intermediates (14 to 16yrs), 2 Juniors (13yrs & under)
The Team is selected at TPC show jumping selection Days, usually a 2 day competition in November.
The selected Team represents TPC at the NZPCA North Island Show Jumping Champs held in Cambridge in January.
